Okay-you’re engaged and you’ve booked me as your photographer! Yay! Now we get to start planning your engagement session-what where in the world do we start? Here are three 3 questions to get you thinking about what you might like and not like in your engagement photos! 



#1 What do I love about the outdoors?

As a natural light photographer, I’m always looking for opportunities to make the most of our outdoor world! When couples book with me and we are planning their engagement session, the first thing I ask is “what do you love about the outdoors?” Is it beautiful architecture? Is it lush greenery? It is golden sunsets or sandy beaches? Maybe it’s a combination of these things! Either way-this is a great place to start because it sets up the mood for your entire shoot! 



#2 What type of couple are we?

I know that your love has many layers and I want to know which ones describe you the most! Do you want your photos to bring forth your silly side, your fun-loving laid back side? Or more of the tender romance and sweetness that you feel when watching A Walk to Remember? (shameless plug for my fav movie!) The answer to this question could dictate how you end up doing your hair and makeup or even what you’ll wear and it helps set the tone for what aspects of your relationship you want the world to see in your images. 



#3 What am I wearing when I feel my best?

Couples are always concerned about what to wear and I get it-you want to look amazing! My best advice for figuring out outfits is this-think about the times you’ve felt your absolute best-what were you wearing?! Do you feel comfortable in skirts or dresses? Would you rather wear shorts and tank top? Honestly-anything can look great in the camera as long as we focus on what makes sense for you! And that’s what I’m here for! I’d love to help you answer these questions and put together a session that screams your love from the mountaintops!
