The arts have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my sister and I made home movies with our Barbie dolls, put on two-person plays, and created fashion shows with our friends for anyone willing to watch. I think we were always looking for a way to turn everyday life into a story.
When I was 14, a friend of my dad’s invited me to assist him and his wife while they photographed weddings. I loved it and apparently, it wasn’t just a phase. In 2014, I started Angelika Krug Photo & Film, and I truly wouldn’t trade this work for the world.
I believe no two stories are alike, and that belief shapes the way I photograph your wedding. Before photography became my career, I spent six years as a professional dancer, where I learned to notice the details; the way someone moves, the energy between people, and the small moments that can easily go unseen.
So when I photograph your wedding, I’m not just looking for another beautiful photo. I’m paying attention to you: the way you naturally interact, your body language, your energy, the people you love, and all the little pieces that make your story yours.

I'm your bonus bridesmaid
your cheerleader
there to remind you to take a breath
your undercover prayer warrior
ready to make you look fierce as hell
but above all- a steady presence
chasing moments so you can live them
I grew up in a beautifully unique, multicultural home, so when someone asks where I’m from, the answer is never quite a short one. My mom is Dominican, my dad is German-Canadian, and I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We grew up speaking all three languages at home, and I’ll always be proud of the little melting pot that shaped me.
I speak fluent Spanish, which means I can wrangle all nine of your tios like a pro-and I’m not afraid to put those skills to work if you need me to pull you away from something either.
When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll probably find me taking a dance class, listening to a good podcast, or grabbing sushi with friends. I’m a lover of golden sunsets, margaritas, a deep conversation, and all things sage green.

Angelika is magic. Since our first conversation with her, we felt completely at ease with hiring her as our photographer and videographer. It was by far one of the best decisions that we made."

Rob and I got married in 2019 and since then he's been my sidekick and video partner-in-crime. He spends many of his days behind the editing suite helping me on our video workflow or working on his own projects. He's not with us on every wedding but he does make his fair share of appearances. Soccer, music, hiking and a good dad joke win this man's heart any day of the week. We are in love with our beautiful daughter Annalise and our golden doodle, Killian.
We balance each other out pretty well. He's the goofball and I'm the empath. He is watered with caffeine and I'm fueled by the mushy wedding stuff. I’m often convinced I can do it all, and Rob is usually the one reminding me to slow down, take a breath, and come back down to earth.
We believe deeply in the beauty of a strong marriage, so when you’re in front of our cameras, know that we’re genuinely rooting for you. We love Jesus, and we strive to live our lives in a way that honors Him, including in the way we care for and serve our couples.
One of the things we love most about photographing and filming weddings is that every celebration brings us back to our own. Your promises remind us of ours. Your joy reminds us to celebrate our own. And every wedding gives us another reason to keep choosing each other and living out our own vows,.
