The arts have been a part of my life since I was a child. Growing up, my sister and I used to make home movies with our barbie dolls, put on two person plays and create fashion shows with our friends for anyone who would watch. When I was 14, a friend of my dad's let me assist him and his wife shooting weddings and I guess you could say it wasn't a phase. I started Angelika Krug Photo & Film 10 years ago and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I am a firm believer that no two stories are alike and when I photograph your wedding, I take that with me. I worked as a professional dancer for 6 years so details are everything and It's not just another photo. It's your life, your moments, your story. I pay attention to your posing and energy, your body language and who you are as people.

Who am I on your

wedding day?

I grew up in a unique multi-cultural home so when I'm asked "where is your family from?" the answer is a fun one! My mom is Dominican, my dad is German/Canadian and I was born in San Juan, PR. We spoke all three languages at home and I'm so proud of my own little melting pot. I speak fluent Spanish so I can wrangle all 9 of your tios like a pro.

When I'm not shooting weddings, I'm making it to a dance class, listening to a podcast or grabbing sushi with friends. I'm lover of sunsets, margaritas and all things sage green.

Rob and I got married in 2019 and since then he's been my sidekick and video partner-in-crime. He spends many of his days behind the editing suite helping me on our video workflow or working on his own projects. He's not with us on every wedding but he does make his fair share of appearances. Soccer, music, hiking and a good dad joke win this man's heart any day of the week. We are in love with our beautiful daughter Annalise and our golden doodle, Killian.

We balance each other out pretty well. He's the goofball and I'm the empath. He is watered with caffeine and I'm fueled by the mushy wedding stuff. Sometimes I think I can do it all and Rob is there to bring me back down to earth and slow me down. We believe in strong marriages so know this-we are rooting for you! We love Jesus and strive to live this life in a way that honors Him and that includes how we treat you. We love shooting weddings because it reminds us of our own wedding day, our own promises and it inspires us to keep living out our vows each and every day.
